Founded in 1845 by Jann Hinrich Andresen, a Danish who arrived at the age of 14 in Portugal. Andresen is a traditional Port's house that specializes in premium Ports with a striking image of luxury and refinement. More than 160 years since it's foundation, Andresen remains proudly independent and is one of the few 100% family-owned Portuguese Port Houses.
All Andresen Ports are now vinified at Quinta das Aranhas, near the Tua River, in the heart of the Douro region. The 40 hectares of A-rated vineyards assure the excellence of the most premium Ports of the Andresen range. Andresen produces some of the best Colheita Ports and aged Tawny Ports.
