Barao de Vilar 40 Year Old Tawny Port Callisto is a supreme, rich, dense wine, full of complex aromas. From an exemplary wood ageing this wine reflects an opulence marked by dry fruit flavours, crystallized fruit, lightly toasted caramel and honey notes of lavender flowers.
Winemaking:
Barao de Vilar 40 Year Old Tawny Port Callisto is produced by the traditional Porto wine method. This is the blend of the best Port wine's batches ageing in oak casks with an average of age of 40 years, produced from different grape varieties of old Vines.

Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, Tinto Cão
Tasting Notes:
Barão de Vilar 40 Years Tawny Porto Callisto is a very well aged wine in wood and this is evident in the wide range of the complex aromas that make up its bouquet of flavours. The fresh fruit has evolved to incredible aromas of caramelized fruits, notes of dried apricots, balsamic notes along with an acidity, always present.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 16ºC-18ºC.
