Winemaking:
Taylor's 40 Year Old Tawny Port is made entirely from grapes grown on Taylor's own estates, vineyards situated in the heart of the Douro Valley. The long years of aging, to which wine is subject, reduce, this Taylor's 40 Year Old Tawny Port, to an essence. It is aged in the company's cold and quiet cellars (known as 'lodges') in Porto, on the Atlantic coast of Portugal. It is a fine example of Tawny style aged in French oak wood
