Messias Colheita Port 2007 is a young Port wine, full of aromas of ripe fruit, some caramel and raisins. It is a wine with notes of spices and vanilla dominated by a great acidity and a very balanced sweetness.
Winemaking:
Messias Colheita Port 2007 was produced by the traditional Porto wine method. This is a wine of exceptional quality, from a single harvest. It maturated in wood, for over 10 years, although, Colheitas Port wine never are less than 7 years of ageing on wood casks.
Grape Varieties:
Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão, Tinta Barroca.
Tasting Notes:
Messias Colheita Port 2007 is a Port wine from the Douro Valley, young, intense and vibrant. It is dominated by aromas of fresh and ripe fruits, some balsamic notes, caramel and raisins. It has a great freshness and a wonderful sweetness.
Store and Serve Advice:
Serving temperature at 10ºC-12ºC.
