1994 Niepoort Late Bottled Vintage Port is a solid and structured LBV port wine with a dry and juicy character. It presents deliciously ripened black fruits, complexity in aromas, such as notes of spices and cocoa along with fantastic tannins and delicate sweetness.
Winemaking:
1994 Niepoort Late Bottled Vintage Port is produced from the blend of powerful, rich and fruity wines of a single year by the traditional Port wine's method. The grapes are tread in granite "Lagares", the wine is stored and it ages, in large oak wood vats, for a period of 4 years old and it is bottled in the same way as a Vintage Port Wine, without any prior treatment.
Grape Varieties:
Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinto Cão, Tinta Francisca, Tinta Amarela, Sousão, Tinta Roriz.
Tasting Notes:
1994 Niepoort Late Bottled Vintage Port is a delicious LBV Port wine that presents a dry character with ripe berry aromas and a fresh acidity that enhances it along with loaded tannins supported by an immense concentration of black fruit aromas. Finishes in delicate flavors of dried fruits, raisins, and sultanas, plus fresh plums.
Store and Serve Advice:
Serving temperature at 15ºC-16ºC.
