Aeternus is an extraordinary red wine from the Douro that has extraordinary concentration and aromatic intensity. It is a wine with an austere and closed profile, with evidence for the potency of the fruit in its core sustained by closed and vigorous tannins that evolve in sweet balsamic notes together with fantastic acidity.
Winemaking:
Aeternus is a red wine produced from red grapes from a centennial vineyard at Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo, in the Douro region. After gentle crushing and total destemming, the grapes fermented in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature. After this process, the wine was transferred to new French oak barrels for 12 months. The final blend was prepared based on a very careful selection, after numerous tastings that confirmed the excellence of the wine and its maturation.

Aeternus is a unique and powerful red wine that highlights in its purest state the intensity and the great character of the wines of the Douro. With an austere and aromatic profile, it exhibits all its potency due to its high concentration of ripe black fruits, in its bouquet, showing notes of blackberries, cherries and cassis and remarkable notes of vanilla and spices. It is deep, mineral and highlights an extraordinary acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store at a temperature of 18 ° C. Serve at a temperature between 16°C à 18°C.
