Altano Organic Wine Red has a ruby colour and shows beautiful aromas of ripe red fruits, flowers, and spices. It is a well-balanced, medium to full bodied wine, with a lingering finish.
Winemaking:
The grapes were manually selected with great care. Fermenttion occuredin stainless steel vats using full temperature control (between 25 and 26ºC) with prolonged maceration in contact with the grapes skins. Maturated for ten months in French oak barrels before bottling.
Grape Varieties:
Tinta Barroca, Touriga Nacional,Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz.
Tasting Notes:
Ruby coloured with strong aromas of ripe red fruits, flowers, and spices. It is a well-balanced, medium to full bodied wine, with a lingering finish.
Store and Serve Advices:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at a temperature between 16ºC-18ºC. Ready to drink although it will benefit from some 2 a 3 years old bottle-ageing.
