Bastardo is a single varietal wine, produced from Bastardo's grape. It is aged in used, 3-years-old, oak barrels for 8 months further 6 months in bottle.
Bastardo is a full-bodied red wine, complex, rounded, concentrated, that has an incredible balance alongside to its remarkable acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 16ºC-18ºC.

The wine features a robust character, such as a timeless, immaterial and sovereign heritage of this Village. It reveals complex, exuberant and powerful ripe fruit aromas, potent tannins and a great minerality.
Herdade dos Grous Reserva it's a full-bodied Red Wine and it reveals a darkly purple colour, with long wood-aging leaving traces of spice and toast. The fruit is rich and complex, with firm tannins. It is still young and will need some time but for sure it will be an outstanding red wine from Alentejo.
Messias Douro Vinha Santa Barbara shows a deep purple colour. It's rich, closed with austere fruit, and some floral touches. It's powerful but round, it has ripe tannins, without excesses, bitter cocoa and mineral notes on the long, juicy ending.
