Castello Alba Limited Edition is a Douro red wine filled with complexity, aromatic concentration, and ripe black fruits flavours. It presents notes of cassis, spices, and fragrances of violets. It is a wine of powerful and enveloping tannins, mineral structure with the predominance of ripe black fruits aromas.
Winemaking:
Castello Alba Limited Edition is a red wine from the Douro Valley that uses a blend of indigenes red grape's varieties, from the Douro Valley, grapes from high altitude and grapes from the field-blend. After a long period of maceration, the wine was fermented at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks. At the end of the fermentation period, 2/3 of the batch stayed in used French oak barrels and the rest in brand new French oak barrels for 18 months.

Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, Tinta Francisca.
Tasting Notes:
Castello Alba Limited Edition is a Douro red wine rich, loaded with ripe black currants and plums, with scents of wildflowers, tight and juicy tannins and a great mineral structure.
Store and Serve Advice:
Storage at a temperature of 15°C. Serve at a temperature of 16°C to 18ºC.
