Chryseia 2016 is a majestic, round red wine with polished and fine tannins and intensely fruity. It features incessant notes of black cherries, blackberries, and blueberries, wild nuances, tobacco notes, black chocolate, and vanilla. Chryseia 2016 is a red wine produced from Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca grapes of old vines with more than 100 years old of age, from the region of Douro. After a long maceration, the fermentation occurred in stainless steel tanks, at a controlled temperature. The wine was stayed, for 14 months, in French and American oak barrels of 400 liters before bottling.
