Cistus Concilium is the top red wine of Quinta do Vale da Perdiz and is characterized by austerity, opulence and aromatic concentration. It reveals an intensity of aromas of ripe red fruits, black fruits, such as blackberries and cherries, with smoked notes, balsamic and spices. It is a red wine loaded with fruit, minerality and very elegant acidity.
Winemaking:
Cistus Concilium is a red wine produced from red grapes of old vines of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Tinta Roriz of the Douro wine region. After partial destemming, the wine was fermented in stainless steel vats at controlled temperatures. After this process, the wine was transferred to French oak barrels, where it remained for 22 months prior to being bottled.

Cistus Concilium is the top red wine of Quinta do Vale da Perdiz. It is a red wine produced in the wine region of the Douro from old vines that give it all the characteristics and identity of high-quality red wine from this region of the Douro. It is complex, austere, with opulent and closed tannins, with sublime balsamic touches and concentrated aromas of ripe red fruits. It is fresh, fleshy and of enormous aromatic intensity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 15ºC-18ºC.
