Messias Douro Vinha Santa Barbara shows a deep purple colour. It's rich, closed with austere fruit, and some floral touches. It's powerful but round, it has ripe tannins, without excesses, bitter cocoa and mineral notes on the long, juicy ending.
Winemaking:
Messias Douro Vinha Santa Barbara is a red wine from, Douro region produced from Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca. The grapes were de-stemmed, crushed and transferred to stainless steel fermentation vats where they were fermented at a controlled temperature for a period of 8-10 days, followed by 15 days of maceration. The wine was aged for 18 months in French oak barrels and plus 8 months in bottle.

Messias Douro Vinha de Santa Barbara is a structured red wine with powerful tannins and dry core. At the same time, it has rich blackberry fruit, and a layer of intense acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 16ºC-18ºC.
