Muxagat is an elegant, concentrated red wine with a dark purple colour. It presents intense aromas of wild red fruits, delicate floral notes, and mineral nuances. With very concentrated tannins, it displays balsamic aromas with notes of spices and vanilla associated with fantastic acidity.
Winemaking:
Muxagat is a red wine produced from red grapes from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Sousão from the Douro wine region. After partial destemming, the wine was foot trodden into granitic Lagares. After this process, the wine was transferred to French oak vats where it fermented at controlled temperatures. Then, the wine was transferred to used French oak barrels, where it remained for 14 months before being bottled.

Tasting Notes:
Muxagat is a dense red wine, complex in structure and intensely aromatic. It is a red wine from the Douro wine region, with aromas of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and raspberries, and balsamic notes. It is an extraordinary red wine with sweet and ripe tannins, with mineral notes and smooth and balanced acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 15ºC-18ºC.
