Passagem Reserva is a velvety and elegant red wine from the Douro region. It is characterized by its vigour and aromatic intensity, both in the ripe fruit and in the floral fragrances, turned by extraordinary balsamic notes. It is a complex and refined red wine, mineral ending in a very soft acidity.
Winemaking:
Passagem Reserva is a red wine produced from autochthonous red grapes such as Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Sousão of the Douro wine region. After partial destemming, the grapes were trodden in granitic Lagares at controlled temperatures and has stayed in contact with the stalks and skins for 2 weeks. After this process, the wine was transferred to French oak barrels, where it has stayed for 12 months, and was subjected to contact with the lees, prior to being decanted, lightly filtered, and bottled.

Tasting Notes:
Passagem Reserva is a full-bodied, juicy, fresh and very elegant red wine. It is a wine with intense aromas of ripe red fruits, floral fragrances, violet and rosemary, balsamic aromas ending with very well-integrated acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 15ºC-18ºC.
