Winemaking:
The clay-schist lands of Quinta do Carmo are an ideal terroir that favors grapes in very slow ripeness, thus producing very elegant and concentrated wines. Manual harvesting was followed by individual fermentation of each variety in stainless steel vats, at controlled temperatures of 26ºC. At the end of fermentation, a 15-day maceration and stage in French oak barrels was followed for 12 months. At the end of the stage the final lot is chosen and then bottled.
Grape Varieties:
Aragonêz, Trincadeira, Alicante Bouschet, Cabernet Sauvignon
