Quinta Vale Dona Maria Vinha do Rio, is a complex red wine in its aromas, of great aromatic intensity and deeply elegant. It presents a dense structure, full of ripe black fruit scents, balsamic notes, powerful tannins, and very balanced acidity.
Winemaking:
Quinta Vale Dona Maria Vinha do Rio, is a red wine produced from the autochthonous red grapes of centenary vines of the Quinta Vale Dona Maria, in the Douro wine region. After a long period of maceration, at cold, the wine was fermented in granitic Lagares at controlled temperatures and it stayed for 18 months into new's French oak barrels, in contact with fine lees, prior to being bottled.

Quinta Vale Dona Maria Vinha do Rio is a powerful red wine filled with intensity, complexity and balsamic perfumes. It displays intense aromas of ripe black fruits like raspberries, plums and black cherries combined with fresh notes of rose, austere tannins, and great acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 16ºC-18ºC.
