Tapada do Chaves winery stands as a patrimony, standing on the slope of the Serra de São Mamede, near the town of Portalegre, in the highlands of the Alentejo. It is an emblematic place, is under a granite massif and at a generous altitude that allows the slow and full maturation of the grapes, which reflects in very pure aromas in the wines and a unique freshness for the red wines and white wines of the region.
