Casa Ermelinda Freitas is a sparkling wine Brut, which features plenty of freshness and elegance, from the region of the Peninsula de Setubal. It's a sparkling wine of fruity aroma, citrus, tropical notes, with slight nuances of toast and it presents some fresh yeast touch. It has a fantastic acidity and a wraparound and velvety mousse.
Winemaking:
Casa Ermelinda Freitas Sparkling Brut is a Portuguese sparkling wine produced according to the Champenoise method with grapes from the region of Peninsula de Setubal such as Fernão Pires and Arinto. The wine was pressed in pneumatic presses and fermented at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks where it stayed for 4 months. It stages in bottle 9 months in the cellar, after the second fermentation.

It should be served at 8ºC to avoid destroying the flavour of the grape.
