Toucas is a white wine produced from the Alvarinho variety of the region of Monção. It features youth citric fruit aromas but it is full of complexity, dominated by lemon and lime fragrances. It features subtle notes of ripe tropical fruits and a very balanced acidity.
Winemaking:
Toucas is a white wine produced in the region of Monção, only with white grapes of Alvarinho. After the fermentation process at controlled temperatures, the wine is subject to a long maceration period and it stays for 9 months in stainless steel tanks prior to being bottled.
