Winemaking:
Lilipop Lupulo is a white wine produced with white grapes from Rabigato, Gouveio and Esgana Cão from the Douro wine region. After gentle crushing and total destemming of the grapes, the musts were transferred to stainless steel vats where the fermentation process took place, using indigenous yeasts, and without resorting to temperature control. At the end of the fermentation, hops were added, thus avoiding the use of sulfur dioxide, and the wine was transferred to French oak barrels, where it remained in contact with fine lees and was subjected to a light but regular stirring, for 6 months, prior to being bottled.
Grape Varieties:
Rabigato, Gouveio, Esgana Cão.
