Niepoort Clos de Crappe is a white wine that results in an aromatic, concentrated, and predominantly mineral wine. Reveals closed evolving to light floral notes of stone fruits, and notes of basil and thyme finished in a very balanced acidity.
Winemaking:
Niepoort Clos de Crappe is a white wine produced from autochthonous white grapes of Rabigato, Códega do Larinho, Gouveio, and Malvasia Fina from the Douro wine region. After the fermentation process into oak vats, the wine aged in French oak barrels, where it remained in contact with the fine lees and was subjected to regular stirring for 9 months, before bottling.

Tasting Notes:
Niepoort Clos de Crappe is a pragmatic white wine, with a slightly floral aroma and predominantly mineral. It exhibits notes of graphite, iodine, wet granitic stone and salty hints along with some floral fragrances. It is a concentrated wine, with a closed bouquet and crunchy acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store at a temperature of 18°C. Serve at a temperature between 10ºC and 12ºC.
