The vines that make this wine have been planted for more than 40 years at high altitudes, between 400 and 700 meters on the right side of the river Douro. After harvest the grapes are pressed, at low temperature, very quickly, overnight without any maceration. Decantation is continued for 24 hours at low temperature. The fermentation is made in French oak barrels. The wine staged for 10 months with fine lees, without malolactic fermentation or batonnage until bottled.
