Pico Wines Verdelho dos Açores is a white wine of great quality and elegance. It presents a pale yellow color, saline aroma, with nuances of sea breeze, lemon zest, herbal, citronella, some tropical fruit and ends with citrus and mineral acidity.
Winemaking:
Pico Wines Verdelho dos Açores is a white wine produced from white grapes of Verdelho planted in the Azores wine region. After a short period of maceration, 6 hours, fermentation took place in stainless steel vats. Then, 80% of the batch has maturated in stainless steel vats and the others 20% of the batch has stayed, in contact with fine lees, where it has been subjected to a regular stirring, for 6 months, in used's French oak barrels, before being filtered, blended, and bottled.

Pico Wines Verdelho dos Açores is an aromatic white wine, with aromas typical of Azorean white wines, with very expressive minerality notes like iodine, and salinity involved in delicious aromas of tropical fruits and perfect acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store at a temperature of 18 ° C. Serve at a temperature between 10ºC and 12ºC.
