Barros 40 Year Old Port has a drier profile of aged Port wine, with some complex character, although, it has also great sweet fruit, lime marmalade and layers of acidity. It's good in balance, leaving a good acidity to the finish.
Winemaking:
Barros 40 Year Tawny Port is produced by the traditional Porto wine method. This is the blend of the best Port wine's batches ageing in oak casks with an average of age of 40 years, produced from different grape varieties from the vineyards of the Douro Valley. It is aged, for an average of 40 years, in French oak casks.

Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão, Tinta Barroca.
Tasting Notes:
Barros 40 Year Tawny Port is an elegant wine with smooth touches of wood stands out the caramelized fruits, the nutty nuances, and the smooth wood tannins. It's well balanced and very refined.

Serving temperature at 15ºC-16ºC.
