Quinta do Vallado 50 years old Tawny is a Port wine that expresses all the splendour, subtlety and enormous quality of this extraordinary 50-year-old Port wine. It presents a high concentration of residual sugars, expressing delicious notes of honey, caramelized apricots, fennel and citruses macerated along with delicious citrus acidity.
Winemaking:
Quinta do Vallado 50-Year-Old Tawny Port has aged in very old 600-litre oak casks and other old oak vats for an average of 50 years old.
Grape Varieties:
Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela, Touriga Franca.
Tasting Notes:
Quinta do Vallado 50 years old Tawny is a superb Port wine, of enormous quality and concentration. It presents very well defined classic evolution aromas, notes of honey and liquorice, mixed with citrus nuances to macerated apricots and raisins. It is a sublime 50-year-old Port wine that ends in a delicious citrus acidity.
