Barao de Vilar Colheita Port 1963 was produced by the traditional Porto wine method. This is a wine of an exceptional quality, from a single harvest. It maturated in wood, for over 50 years, although, Colheitas Port wine never are less than 7 years of ageing on wood casks.
Grape Varieties:
Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão, Tinta Barroca.
Tasting Notes:
Barao de Vilar Colheita Porto 1963 is an opulent wine with a lot of intensity in its aromas, full in the mouth, with the fruit flavours backed up into the smoked wood scents, due to it wood ageing for over 50 year, bringing spices and vanilla and slightly burnt caramel on its bouquet of aromas.
Store and Serve Advice:
Serving temperature at 15ºC-16ºC.
