Barão de Vilar Colheita Tawny 2009 Port is a port wine with a clear amber color and ruby rim. Noteworthy in its aromas are the flavours of fresh citrus and evolving aromas such as walnuts and almonds along with caramel and candied orange peel flavours. It finishes with very balanced acidity.
Winemaking:
Barão de Vilar Colheita Tawny 2009 Port was produced by the traditional Porto wine method. This is a wine of exceptional quality, from a single harvest. It maturated in wood, for over 10 years, although, Colheitas Port wine never are less than 7 years of ageing in wood casks.
Grape Varieties:
Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Sousão, Tinta Amarela, Tinto Cão.
Tasting Notes:
Barão de Vilar Colheita Tawny 2009 Port is a young's Port wine, with well-defined aromas, with fresh frusta still present, and aromas of vanilla, dried fruits, and caramelized citrus to be highlighted in the bouquet. It has citric acidity, clear structure, and balanced acidity.

Serving temperature at 10ºC-12ºC.
