Barros Colheita 1938 is a unique and superb Port Wine. Exudes all the complex flavours and secondary aromas, due to the ageing in wood for more than 70 years. The sugars were mutated into delicious notes of honey, dry almonds fragrances, vanilla hints. The delicious wood notes and its subtle acidity gives it a wonderful dry character.

Winemaking:
Barros Colheita 1938 Port was produced by the traditional Porto wine method. This is a wine of an exceptional quality, from a single harvest. It maturated in wood, for over 70 years, although, Colheitas Port wine never are less than 7 years of ageing on wood casks.
Grape Varieties:
Tinta Barroca, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional.
Tasting Notes:
Barros Colheita 1938 is an intensely complex Port wine which is dominated by delicious secondary flavours. Marked by aromas of honey, salted caramel, toasted almonds it's perfectly poised with the wood hints and with its extraordinary acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Serving temperature at 10ºC-12ºC.
