Colheita Port 1977 Real Companhia Velha has a garnet colour. It's a ripe, rich and sweet wine. It has a rich density, packed with caramelised fruits, ripe plums and raisins. It is a luxurious wine.
Winemaking:
Colheita Port 1977 Real Companhia Velha was produced by the traditional Porto wine method. This is a wine of an exceptional quality, rare, from a single harvest. It maturated in wood, for over 40 years, although, Colheitas Port wine never are less than 7 years of ageing on wood casks.
Grape Varieties:
Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca.
Tasting Notes:
Colheita Port 1977 Real Companhia Velha has a perfect concentration in fruit. This wine is rich, dense and with perfumed fruits that are still in evidence behind the old wood flavours from the wood ageing.
Store and Serve Advice:
Serving temperature at 15ºC-16ºC.
