Maynards Colheita Tawny 1963 Port is an extraordinary Port wine, of great complexity and intensity. It features a dry character and it's dominated by delicious notes of caramelized citrus, cherry jam, roasted quinces, cinnamon, and spices. It ends long, soft and with delicious citric acidity.
Winemaking:
Maynards Colheita Tawny 1963 Port was produced by the traditional Porto wine method. This is a wine of exceptional quality, from a single harvest. It maturated in wood, for over 50 years, although, Colheitas Port wine never are less than 7 years of ageing in wood casks.
Grape Varieties:
Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Sousão, Tinta Amarela, Tinto Cão.
