Maynards Colheita Tawny 1982 Port is an intense, amber golden Port wine, and it features full of evolving aromas, with roasted quinces, roasted walnuts, confectioned apricots, and raisins. Presents citrus acidity, notes of the extraordinary wood barrel, tobacco leaf and it ends into a deeply silky and soft texture.
Winemaking:
Maynards Colheita Tawny 1982 Port was produced by the traditional Porto wine method. This is a wine of exceptional quality, from a single harvest. It maturated in wood, for over 40 years, although, Colheitas Port wine never are less than 7 years of ageing in wood casks.
Grape Varieties:
Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Sousão, Tinta Amarela, Tinto Cão.
Tasting Notes:
Maynards Colheita Tawny 1982 Port is a port wine with almost 40 years and presents great complexity and depth in its aromas. Its aroma bouquet includes flavors such as cinnamon roast quinces, caramel notes, hazelnuts and roasted almonds. In the mouth, evolves to citrus and marmalade flavors, with a bit of caramel, in addition to balsamic notes and wooden barrel. Finishes with fantastic citric acidity.

Serving temperature at 10ºC-12ºC.
