Maynards Colheita Tawny 1999 Port was produced by the traditional Porto wine method. This is a wine of exceptional quality, from a single harvest. It maturated in wood, for over 20 years, although, Colheitas Port wine never are less than 7 years of ageing in wood casks.
Grape Varieties:
Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Sousão, Tinta Amarela, Tinto Cão.
Tasting Notes:
Maynards Colheita Tawny 1999 Port has a more fruity character, with a slight and balanced citric acidity. It is dense, concentrated, full of hazelnut, walnut, and roasted almond flavours. It presents aromas of raisins, caramelized apricots and long and balanced marmalade.
Store and Serve Advice:
Serving temperature at 10ºC-12ºC.
