Maynards Colheita Tawny 2002 Port has a beautiful golden colour with orange rim expressing its concentration, maturation and intense caramelized aromas. It is rich, delicious with notes of hazelnuts, walnuts and roasted almonds along with lemongrass perfume and citric acidity.
Winemaking:
Maynards Colheita Tawny 2002 Port was produced by the traditional Porto wine method. This is a wine of exceptional quality, from a single harvest. It maturated in wood, for over 15 years, although, Colheitas Port wine never are less than 7 years of ageing in wood casks.
Grape Varieties:
Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Sousão, Tinta Amarela, Tinto Cão.
Tasting Notes:
Maynards Colheita Tawny 2002 Port is elegant, rich, and concentrated Port wine. It features resplendent golden colour, with a ruby border, and full of caramelized fruit aromas mixed with notes of nuts and balanced acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Serving temperature at 10ºC-12ºC.
