Maynards Colheita Tawny 2006 Port has a gold colour with an orange rim reflecting delicious citrus aromas and caramelized dried fruit flavors. It is elegant and rich with delicious acidity.
Winemaking:
Maynards Colheita Tawny 2006 Port was produced by the traditional Porto wine method. This is a wine of exceptional quality, from a single harvest. It maturated in wood, for over 10 years, although, Colheitas Port wine never are less than 7 years of ageing in wood casks.
Grape Varieties:
Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Sousão, Tinta Amarela, Tinto Cão.
Tasting Notes:
Maynards Colheita Tawny 2006 Port is an elegant, golden-colored Port wine with a clean appearance and complex citric flavours. Highlights balsamic aromas of caramelized nuts, raisins, dried apricots along with hints of ripe tropical fruit scents.
