Messias Colheita Port 1964 has a great balance between acidity and the impressively fresh fruit, considering the age of this Port. It has plenty of flavours from the wood ageing, combined with honey, fig and raisin flavours and a very complex flavours bouquet that create a very great wine.
Winemaking:
Messias Colheita Port 1964 was bottled in 2016 and it was produced by the traditional Porto wine method. This is a wine of an exceptional quality, from a single harvest. It maturated in wood, for over 50 years, although, Colheitas Port wine never are less than 7 years of ageing on wood casks.
Grape Varieties:
Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão, Tinta Barroca.
Tasting Notes:
Messias Colheita Port 1964 is a really mature wine with a dry character along with its dense mature flavours as the rich fruits and its old wood flavours. This is a wine to savour slowly.
Store and Serve Advice:
Serving temperature at 15ºC-16ºC.
