Messias Colheita Port 1966 is a golden wine in colour and so concentrated. It is powered by an intense acidity from the wood ageing, as much as by the residual fruit. It's spicy with plenty of dried fruits and it has one perfect balance giving to this wine such an elegance and surprising freshness.

Messias Colheita Port 1966 was bottled in 2016 and it was produced by the traditional Porto wine method. This is a wine of an exceptional quality, from a single harvest. It maturated in wood, for 50 years, although, Colheitas Port wine never are less than 7 years of ageing on wood casks.
Grape Varieties:
Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão, Tinta Barroca.
Tasting Notes:
Messias Colheita Port 1966 stands out by the fruit and with rich caramel flavours that are balanced by the outstanding acidity. It's a warm, a ripe wine, intense and concentrated. Its dryness from such a long wood ageing makes it in an incredible wine.
Store and Serve Advice:
Serving temperature at 15ºC-16ºC.
