2012 Harvest Blandys Malmsey is a complex, fine and sweet Madeira wine. It presents exuberant notes of caramel and peach in syrup, notes of vanilla, tropic flavours and citrus aromas. It is an extraordinarily elegant Madeira wine, with acidity very present along with mineral saline notes.
Winemaking:
2012 Harvest Blandys Malmsey is a Madeira wine produced from autochthonous grapes of Malmsey from the Madeira wine region. The grapes, after being pressed, were fermented in stainless steel vats at controlled temperatures. After fermentation was stopped, the wine was transferred to greenhouse tanks, where it was subjected to a cyclic heating and cooling process, with temperatures between 45ºC and 50ºC, for three months. After this process the wine has staged in American oak casks, using the traditional "canteiro" method for 7 years prior to being bottled.

2012 Harvest Blandys Malmsey is an elegant, fine and rich Madeira wine. It is a Madeira wine with tropical aromas, citrus notes and saline notes. Of silky texture and vibrant acidity, there are also notes of molasses, passion fruit and caramelized orange peel.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store at a temperature of 18 ° C. Serve at 13ºC to 14ºC.
