Blandys Sercial 10 Years Old is an elegant wood wine, with a velvety texture, and intensely aromatic. It displays citrus notes, along with nuances of tropical fruits and dried fruit notes. It is a wood wine with a dry profile, lively acidity and extraordinary tertiary notes of dry tobacco leaf, molasses and extraordinary saline notes.
Winemaking:
Blandys Sercial 10 Years Old is a Madeira wine produced from autochthonous grapes of Sercial from the Madeira wine region. The grapes, after being pressed, were fermented in stainless steel vats at controlled temperatures. After fermentation was stopped, the wine has staged in American oak casks, using the traditional "canteiro" method for 10 years prior to being bottled.
