Quinta do Bomfim Vintage Port 2008 is an extraordinary Vintage Port wine that presents an elegant and refined structure, and that highlights in the mouth, a sublime overlay of layers of perfectly defined aromas. It highlights sensory layers of ripe black fruits with hints of vanilla and spices along with spicy and juicy tannins.
Winemaking:
Quinta do Bomfim Vintage Port 2008 is produced with grapes from the Quinta do Bomfim, in the Douro Valley, by the traditional Port wine method, where grapes are trodden in granitic stone's Lagares, and the wine it's aged for 2 years, in French oak wood hulls before being transferred to the bottle.
Grape Varieties:
Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca, Touriga Nacional.
Tasting Notes:
Quinta do Bomfim Vintage Port 2008 is an extremely elegant Vintage Port wine, with a clear ruby color. It presents an aromatic bouquet of layers of flavors of ripe black fruits such as cherry and black plum and fragrances of cistus, vanilla, and spices. It is a full-bodied Vintage Port with flavors of licorice, blackberry and blueberry, and spicy tannins.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in the upright position ± 15 ° C at a constant temperature. Serve at a temperature between 12-14ºC.
