Borges Reserva is a rich red wine from Dão, full of fruit concentration, austere and potent tannins and elegant balsamic aromas. It is a very complex red wine, incorporating mineral notes, which give it freshness and elegance, notes of spices and dry tobacco leaf that give it quality along with well-marked acidity.
Winemaking:
Borges Reserva is a red wine produced from indigenous red grapes of Tinta Roriz, Alfrocheiro, and Touriga Nacional from the Dão wine region. The wine was subjected to a short cold maceration, after fermentation in stainless steel vats at controlled temperatures. After the fermentation process, the wine was transferred to oak French barrels, where it remained with the lees for 12 months, prior to being bottled.

Borges Reserva is a full-bodied, mineral red wine from Dão, with austere and fruity tannins, which combines intense notes with ripe red fruits with mineral and vegetable nuances. It is a very elegant red wine, with a fine and intense concentration, of fantastic aromaticity and vibrant acidity along with delicious balsamic notes.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 16ºC-18ºC.
