Burmester Sotto Voce Reserve is a Port wine that exudes a great aromatic intensity, with notes of black wild fruits, notes of dark chocolate along with balsamic nuances. It is a very well-structured Port wine, with juicy and firm tannins and very elegant acidity.

Burmester Sotto Voce Reserve is a Port wine produced with autochthonous red grapes of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Tinta Roriz from the Douro wine region. The wine was produced by the classical Porto wine method were the grapes that were foot trodden in granitic Lagares and the fermentation took place at controlled temperature with a pre-maceration. When the wort was reached the desired sweetness value, the fermentation was interrupted by the addition of brandy. The wine was aged in French oak barrels prior to being bottled, for 2-3 years average.

Tasting Notes:
Burmester Sotto Voce Reserve is a very elegant Port wine, with fine and complex aromas that highlight notes of wild black fruits, notes of vanilla, spices and a lot of freshness. It is an intensely aromatic Port, young, irreverent, but silky, with fleshy tannins and polished acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Serve temperature 8-10°C.
