1987 Niepoort Vintage Port is a prodigious's Vintage Port, full of character, dry profile and intense aromas of ripe black fruits such as blackberries and plums. It features a massive juicy core full of blackberry and chocolate notes and finishes with thin layers of spice flavors and lasting acidity.
Winemaking:
1987 Niepoort Vintage Port is produced by the traditional Port wine method, grapes are trodden in granitic stone's Lagares, and it's aged for 2 years, in French oak wood hulls before being transferred to the bottle.
Grape Varieties:
Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinto Cão, Sousão, Tinta Roriz.
Tasting Notes:
1987 Niepoort Vintage Port is an excellent Port Vintage wine in quality because Niepoort House creates a traditional style of Vintage Port wines that can age for years on the bottle. This wine is huge and tannic, with acidity and dried fruit flavors. It has a dry style, with soft and juicy tannins, delicious acidity along with subtle notes of mint and black pepper.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in the upright position ± 15 ° C at a constant temperature. Serve at a temperature between 12-14ºC.
