Borges Soalheira Vintage Port 2017 is a very elegant Vintage Port wine, which has an intense and dark ruby color, and purple edge evidenced by powerful ripe black fruits in its structure. It is balanced, full of aromatic intensity and elegant acidity.
Winemaking:
Borges Soalheira Vintage Port 2017 is produced by the traditional Port wine method, trodden in granitic stone's Lagares, and it's aged for 2 years, in French oak wood hulls before being transferred to the bottle.
Grape Varieties:
Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Sousão.
Tasting Notes:
Borges Soalheira Vintage Port 2017 is an extraordinarily smooth and well-balanced Vintage Port wine that presents great aromatic intensity, truly purity of ripe black fruit aromas, such as black cherries and blueberries, and reveals subtle complexity aromas with some hints of vanilla and some spices into its fruits layers. Of silky and sweet tannins it presents irreverent notes to mint and basil, intense licorice aromas, dark chocolate, and very balanced acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in the upright position ± 15 ° C at a constant temperature. Serve at a temperature between 12-14ºC.
