Dark purple color with ruby nuances. It is a floral and opulent wine. Fruity, dense with lots of ripe black fruit, jellies of figs and ripe plums, raisins. The tannins are powerful, round and firm. The acidity is enveloping making the finish fresh and velvety.
Winemaking:
Vintage Port Wines are bottled in cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia after the second year of aging in French oak wood. Produced according to the traditional method of foot treading in classic stone called "lagares". A Vintage Port is only declared in years of exceptional quality.
