Dark violet color. It is an opulent, very mature wine. Very sweet black fruit notes showing black chocolate and caramel. The tannins are very soft and round. Involving this whole fruit there is a firm, structured and dry core with a fantastic acidity.
Winemaking:
Vintage Port Wines are bottled in cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia after the second year of aging in French oak wood. Produced according to the traditional method of foot treading in classic stone called "lagares". A Vintage Port is only declared in years of exceptional quality.
