Maynards Vintage Port 2012 is a Port wine that highlights the fresh notes and aromas of ripe black fruits in its structure, featuring blackberries and blueberries and cherries flavours. It's a Vintage Port that shows a dry character, it has floral aromas, violet and jasmine, firm core and silky and juicy tannins.
Winemaking:
Maynards Vintage Port 2012 is produced by the traditional Port wine method, trodden in granitic stone's Lagares, and it's aged for 2 years, in French oak wood hulls before being transferred to the bottle.
Grape Varieties:
Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, Tinto Cão.
Tasting Notes:
Maynards Vintage Port 2012 it's an elegant's Port wine that features a fine tannic structure behind the rich flavours of blackberries, blueberries and black cherries. It highlights the aromas of ripe black fruits among spicy notes and it ends on a very balanced acidity and with notes of extraordinary wood.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in the upright position ± 15 ° C at a constant temperature. Serve at a temperature between 12-14ºC.
