Sandeman Vintage Port 2000 is a wine made after choosing the best young red wines of the Douro Valley from the vineyards grown on the slopes along the banks of the Douro River. It is a fortified wine, due to the addition of brandy. The maturing of the wine defines the difference between the Vintage Port style and the Late Bottled Vintage Port. Sandeman Vintage Port 2000 matured for 2 years in French oak wood hulls before being transferred to bottle. This Sandeman Vintage 2000 is a reference in its category.
