Maynards 20 Year Old Tawny Port is a concentrated and complex wine. It shows beautifully wood oak aromas, hints of vanilla and raisins combined with an attractive acidity. Its core is rich, full of fresh fruit yet, although the soft wood gives to wine a remarkable velvety texture that extends until the end.
Winemaking:
Maynards 20 Year Old Tawny Port is produced by the traditional Porto wine method. This is the blend of the best Port wine's batches ageing in oak casks with an average of age of 20 years, produced from different grape varieties as Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão, Tinta Barroca. It was aged, for an average of 20 years, in French oak casks.
