Distillation:
Aguardente de Medronho was produced from the distillation of the Medronho fruit. The medronho was fermented in copper tanks for between thirty to sixty days. The tanks are then covered with crushed fruits to avoid contact with the air and it remains covered, at a controlled temperature, until the distillation process occurs in the traditional copper stills.
Tasting Notes:
Aguardente de Medronho is a brandy of crystal and bright colour, with aromas of fresh fruit of medronho, mountain herbs, thyme, rosemary and oregano. It is an indisputable forbearance in lightness, purity and aromaticity, with a soft and very soft spirit.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store at room temperature protected from sunlight. Serve at 18-20ºC.
