Colheita Port Messias 2003 is a ripe and fruity wine. It features plenty of ripe fruit flavours with touches of caramel and vanilla. It has a delicious acidity, that gives an extraordinary balance between his sweetness and the wood tannins.
Winemaking:
Colheita Port Messias 2003 was produced by the traditional Porto wine method. This is a wine of an exceptional quality, from a single harvest. It maturated in wood, for over 10 years, although, Colheitas Port wine never are less than 7 years of ageing on wood casks.
Grape Varieties:
Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão, Tinta Barroca.
Tasting Notes:
Colheita Port Messias 2003 has a golden red colour with aromas of forest fruits, as blackberry and black cherries. It has wood tannins and subtle hints of vanilla. The aftertaste is persistent and fine.
Store and Serve Advice:
Serving temperature at 15ºC-16ºC.
